Alex Rowley is an energy and sustainability professional with nearly a decade of experience at Inteb. As a Technical Account Manager, he bridges the gap between technical building performance and commercial strategy. By combining deep technical expertise with tailored advisory, Alex helps commercial property portfolios navigate the energy landscape and achieve their net-zero and optimisation goals.

Career Journey

Alex’s strategic approach is built on a strong foundation of operational delivery. Prior to his current role, he spent five years as a Project Manager, leading the end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure works – including sub-metering upgrades, Solar PV installations, and EV charging programmes. Because he has managed these projects on the ground, the energy solutions he scopes today are always practical, operationally realistic, and designed for smooth execution.

Areas of Expertise

– Technical Scoping & Diagnostics: Conducting site surveys and scoping practical solutions for metering infrastructure, renewables, and utility upgrades.

– Compliance & Heat Networks: Guiding clients through evolving regulations, MEES/EPC compliance, and the transition to low-carbon infrastructure.

– Client Engagement & Advisory: Translating complex consumption data and billing anomalies into clear, commercial recommendations for landlords, managing agents, and FM teams.

A major part of Alex’s role is drawing on his extensive project experience to make complex technical and regulatory changes accessible to clients. He works closely with stakeholders to help them make sense of their energy data, recharge methodologies, and shifting compliance landscapes. Most recently, Alex authored Inteb’s latest guidance on Heat Networks, breaking down what the new regulations mean for property owners and the practical steps required to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
